Just out and about in a Big Block Cougar.
Sure is quiet Mopauly! Almost belies its age!
Hey mopauly, great videos, looking forward to more
Neither the speedometer nor
the tach is working.
Well aware. On the punch list.
It’s all part of the plan - no tach, can’t redline; no speedo, stays a low mileage vehicle. Pretty smart fellar that Paul!
Someone already disconnected it at 97677. And the trip odometer is something like 668??? And I didn’t care about the mileage.
Just razzin’ mopauly; just razzin’….
Fresh off the phone. Everything went great. Check it out.
Second half.
So some observations from driving greeny the last couple of days. First of all, that side view mirror is something to be desired. You hang your arm on the top of that belt line and the whole back of the car disappears. Not good, but I’ll get used to it. Secondly, the turn signals stock. Is there any way to adjust it? So it feels less iffy. Thirdly, i’ve tried to fill it up for the third time. This time while i’m filling it up, I hear the gurgle gurgle gurgle.Let it stop hit the hose again. And it’s squirted right back at me. I’m assuming it’s full. Get back in the car. Wait for the gauges to come up and never reaches three quarters. So i’m assuming something needs to be adjusted. But other than that, i’ve just been tooling around town putting miles on greeny. Not driving greeny spiritedly at all.Just driving it like I would a normal car. But loving the shit out of it. Thanks if you read this.
The low reading on the gas gauge is probably indicative of a sender issue. You can’t measure the resistance when it appears to be full and you should see 10 ohms or less. If higher than that you need to get it rebuilt
More adventures with Greeny.
