License plate light not hooked up???
Ok story time. I just took my car to Lucore Automotive in plain city ohio. Rich is THE MAN. I wish I could have videod the genius that this man is. The place was in total chaos when I arrived. But what shop isn’t??? Anyhoo… Things finally calmed down, Rich started on my car. He started messing with the carburetor and then took it to the back and proceeded to adjust it further and then start on the taillights. But before that he adjusted the hood. Looks 10 times better. Then, he started with the taillights, and ended up taking the whole bumper off the car just to get the license plate light to work. I was pulled over once back in the day in my 69 Judge, just for a license plate light. Not what I was doing twenty minutes earlier.While he had the bumper off, we figured out that the car had been hit at least once, really hard in the back. He got the bumper back on and adjusted it properly.Now, the taillights work and the license plate light works. He adjusted the cal tracks, balance the tires and now the car drives like a dream. Also, this is the only place I will be posting from now on. I didn’t realize I was filling up the forum by posting in different places. Won’t do that anymore.

More shenanigans. Now driving Greeny for the past 2 1/2 weeks, I have a few observations. Is there a way or manufacturer that can just get a little tilt back in the seat. I know about the spacers to tilt the whole seat. But if the back could just go back 3/4 you an inch would be GREAT. You never realize how much you want to honk your horn when you CAN’T. Got that on the punch list. The cigarette lighter doesn’t work, how much of a hassle is it to get that to come alive??? Another topic, when I get into Greeny (It’s been a little chilly) and yes I let him warm up a bit. But the first takeoff from the first stop, the trans goes nowhere for a half a click. Normal??? Doesn’t do it again after that. The throttle sticks just above idle after being driven at highway speed for long periods of time. Carb will be rebuilt or maybe back to the stock Autolite. Which I don’t own. Im up for anything that works. Greeny has to able to behave in traffic and and highway speed. Don’t care about mileage. Rich at Lucore Automotive adjusted the Cal Traks, and balanced the tires. WHAT a difference, no more banging around doing low speed maneuvers. FANTASTIC!!! The radio, how do keep power to that all time??? Resetting it every time is A PAIN IN THE as#. Thanks for reading watching whatever… You guys are the best!!!
