I know we are a few hours ahead of you here in Europe and as I write this it is almost December 3rd but the ride of the month on the forum is still Brian’s GTE.
Bill, is it about time to make a change?

Yeah Helena, what gives?
Just joking, please don’t put me in a time out.
Ok, you’re fired, instead!
We should give Bill a pass until Monday (at least). His daughter is getting married Saturday.
What’s that got to do with anything? He’s a businessman so he should be able to prioritize! Besides, his only job at the wedding is the walk down the aisle. Everything else is being done by the womenfolk; they tell him what checks to write and he does it.
Her mother and I… Her mother and I… Her mother and I… gotta get my lines down. I will ask Jay to help me out on this. I have to go to the rehearsal dinner tonight.
Have a great time tomorrow Bill!
Cheers, Bill!
Just dont say Herman and I … if anyone even catches that you said that … and if they do blame it on the groomsmen and whatevr they have in the flask
You need to practice eating in public?
and, for goodness’s sake, don’t forget where you hid the cars and the booze.
Hmmm…
Well, maybe you should tell ME where you hid the cars, and JB where you hid the booze, just in case!
(mentally calculating flight time to AZ in the Lear, how many drivers errr, passengers needed…)
LOL
Congrats to you and your family, Bill! Enjoy the day as much as you can!
You’re both too far away. It’s somewhere around a 2:40-2:45 hr drive from my front door to his; less if I go alone and therefore don’t have to make any stops. With extra drivers (can take 5, but prefer only 4,); it would probably stretch to 3 hours; because there’s always some guy who drank too much and can’t hold it.
Congratulations Bill!!!

In that case, DD, it’s going to be a close race…2:30 from here, depending on the winds aloft…LOL!!!
READY…SET…GO!!!
Bill congratulations on this special day for you and your family. Great choice for Decembers ROTM! Congrats on that also.
Steven
Bill, I am very happy for you and your family and want to send my best wishes for the wedding tomorrow
Yea Bill ! Great looking G !
A little late, but congrats Bill! With 19 and 21 year old daughters myself, I get queasy at the thought of going through the ‘ordeal’ of ‘giving’ them away…

Yeah but you’ll still have to close-out with PHX Center, do the tie-down paper at Butler, get a rental, highlight the map and/or load the GPS, figure out Phoenix traffic and the interminable road construction zones, etc, etc. I didn’t realize it until a few years ago; but I had either ridden with my parents, or driven them -or driven myself, or driven my girlfriend/wife, or driven my kids or any combination of the above- past Bill’s street on my way to Mom & Dad’s summer cabin since age 13!
And in the last few years, a stoplight has even been installed (by either the city or the county, who cares?) to remind me where to turn right!
(EDIT: Or turn left, depending upon whether I check-in to the motel first, or just drive straight through)
I just shut down the truck, jump out, “tie-down” with the lock button on my key-fob, and I’m there!
(It also helps to know the better routes around the construction zones)
