Those who post on vertical scope sites (like mc.net) might want to change passwords used on other sites, including this one, if you use the same username, and especially if you use the same username and password here as there. More info on the breach is at http://www.verticalscope.com/about-us/notice-of-data-breach.html

To be clear - this site has not been hacked. But the hackers may have your credentials from vertical scope sites (including mc.net). If you use the same login credentials here, then they could access your profile.

To change your password here, go to the upper right side of the page where you will see your user name. Select “user control panel” from the drop-down menu, then select the “profile” tab, then the “edit account settings” menu option.

Good advice Mr. Eos! We have not been hacked, and we don’t run the same software.

I have been watching for any strange actions and so far nothing is a miss. If any one sees anything please let me know.

I am still waiting to hear exactly how Vertical Scope was hacked. I don’t think it was individual site, I think this was more of an inside job.
