As always, forgive my ignorance. The bushing that is on the body of the door striker - why is it that I can’t find them for 1970? WCC has them for 1971-1973. It says they only started using them in 1972, but mine has something on the striker shaft. What do you use?
The bushing is not replaceable for 70. You have to replace the entire striker plate. Here is an example on eBay:
Appreciate that; I think my strikers are fine, and they can be held quite readily (WCC or NPD). I was just looking for the polyethelene? busing that is on the “stem” of the striker.

Both NPD & WCC have them for considerably less (not NOS however)
