I have a question regarding door switches. Did all cars have door switches it only cars with the courtesy light package? I bought said panel lights and door courtesy lights and was wondering if all cars had door switches

67 & 68 XR-7s had them also.

All 67-73 Cougars had the door jamb light switches. Even if the courtesy light package was not ordered the car would still be equipped with the under dash lights as those were standard equipment.

Yes Cathouse is right all had the switches, but the difference in options is the way they are wired. Like the XR7’s with the switches in the dash also controlling lights, the wiring is different going to the door switches.
