Just installed a Dr. Heater DR966 240-volt Garage Heater (3000-watt/6000-watt) in the garage today to help make it a bit warmer when working. I would have preferred a natural gas heater, but was too difficult in running a gas line. I have a 60k BTU propane unit if it’s really cold, but it’s nice just hitting a switch for moderate conditions …although it’s more expensive to run.
Seems like a durable unit and brought the temp up 10 degrees under an hour on a 30 degree day, but garage is insulated.
