Dry rotting rubber

I’ve noticed that the new rubber boots/mounts/seals that are available seem to start ozone cracking within a year. Replacing tie rod/ball joint boots/weatherstrips etc every year is a dead stick! What is the consensus on what to use to protect the rubber parts on our precious cars from rubber rot? Silicone spray? 303 protectant? Boeshield? Something else??

I opened a new package of sway bar end links and the rubber bushings were already split. They have been on the shelf for a long time but what would they look like on the car?
