Edelbrock carb vapor lock solution (for me)

Thought I’d share this solution I came up with.
I use a 650AVS2 on my 351w with Alu heads and intake, headers, cam, and partridge tactically poised in a pear tree.
I had some trouble with my dead head setup in traffic when I was stuck in stop/go for a couple of miles in 90F heat. I already had a phenolic spacer and a couple of other tricks. So, I decided to do a return line to the tank.
I use the Edelbrock dual line inlet, so I drilled and tapped the Banjo for 1/8 npt and added an elbow to -6 line. This lets the warmest fuel leave the carb and cooler fuel enter. Solves the problem.
The trick is Edelbrock used 5/8-20 thread on the banjos, and there are precious few options for this in the Russell/Fragola/Summit catalogs. So, I made my own from a spare I had sitting in my parts stash. Works great. No more percolation, but I try to makes sure I have at least 3/4 of a tank of fuel before I hit any big traffic to heat sink the warm fuel reentering the tank.

Side question: How do you have the kickdown linkage set up on your car? Can you provide a picture? I am having trouble with mine.

Hi, @sfhess sorry it took me a day or two.
Here you go. I have a manual trans, but I installed this for my FMX when I was using that and never removed it.
