Will the 2105 fit a '67 California XR7 ? I know it does not have EGR fitting, but is that the only difference ?
Thanks, Dale.
As long as it’s an FE engine. The EGR stuff was 71+ years. If your’s has it, I would be convinced someone other then Ford put it on there. Smog pumps and PCV was smog stuff back in 67. There was other smog stuff, but those are the big ones.
Thanks for that. Not sure why I thought it had an EGR, but the fact it doesn’t simplifies matters.
Again, thanks. Dale.
Forgot to ask, but it is listed as not legal for emission controlled engines. Not too concerned with that, but just want to be sure it fis anyway, main purpose is to reduce front end weight.
That it will do. Factory cast iron ones are appx 90lbs. Alum are about 30-35lbs. It’s pretty close to the 390 GT intake in specs.
I have Edlebrock Performer heads and intake on my '67 XR7GT. FE is an FE.
Would even pass California emissions without all the smog stuff as CA law doesn’t apply to 1975 and older.
