i’m getting one of those colored electrical schematics for my cougar.
This fellow does a nice job http://classiccarwiring.com/ but he offers a 67 xr7 diagram, or a 68 standard.
is the wiring close enough between 67 and 68 to use the 67 xr7, or should i go 68 standard, with only the gauges being different?
I tried contacting them for my 73 but no luck.I did get a factory set , (9 pages) from faxon auto lierature (not as cheap) which I took right to fedex kinkos and enlarged so I wouldnt keep folding and unfolding the originals. I’m very pleased with them, just my .02

well, this thread was to help me decide which one will best do the job for my 68 xr7…
67 xr7 or 68 std, i haven’t ordered yet.
well, got an answer!. 67xr7 is the same as 68xr7 (except for marker lights of course) so, i went and ordered the poster size xr7. should make tracing the wires easier for this old fart!

got it friday. It’ll do the job just fine. The seller warned it would overcharge my card, and he was right. He also credited the difference.
