WOW! great work… off topic, the windows at the top of the wall, they look like there are off a bus… what do they do?
Your work looks really good, and you are moving very quickly with the metal work. Nice job, i’m sure looking forward to see it as you move forward.
Thanks Guys, its starting to look half decent again now.
Ive asked the panel beater to finish it by the end of the year, so still seems on track atm.
I will have to ask him about the windows Bill, he’s been in the shop quite a few years so maybe someone didn’t pay him for work on a bus? lol
Your work is coming together nicely. With all of the British motor logos on the wall hopefully a Mercury head or walking Cougar will adorn the shop wall after this project. ![]()
Steven
Have reached the first milestone now of all the metal bodywork cutting, grinding and welding completed.
The car is into the body shop next door for any dints, filling and primer application.

Wow! Moving right along! Should see it in paint day after tomorrow, right? ![]()
LoL… yeah hopefully paint will be my Christmas present.
Wow! looking nice. You certainly aren’t wasting time getting this cat together. Keep the pics and updates coming. I love to see a car take shape.
Christmas in July?
At the rate the work is being done on your car you will have paint well before Christmas. It’s coming together nicely.
IF you down load you albums, and put them where Jay can get to them, like on Box, he can probably fix your posts.
Can anyone pls advise the paint code for Competition green? My painter uses Glasurit products and is getting close to laying on some colour.
Also is Competition and Grabber green both exactly the same?
Thanks
Competition Green and Grabber Green are the same colors, both Ford #3658-A.
Thanks Mike, we can always rely on you to reply.
I use Flicker, Start a Yahoo account and it is free. So far no problems.
