Eliminators on the Market (Aug 2015)

Only one more month of summer left :frowning: Better get in your cruising and car shows while you can!

The listings below are combed from various popular sites (CraigsList, eBay, Hemmings, CarsOnLine, Kijiji), and a few obscure ones, as well as from Facebook posts and the occasional email. Feel free to comment about an Eliminator listed here (or elsewhere), and if you know of or have an Eliminator for sale please feel free to add it to the list.

Sometimes the cars from old listings are still available even though they are no longer listed. If you are looking for an Eliminator feel free to send me a PM or an email and I’ll look through my files to see if I can find something to meet your needs.

If you are on Facebook, be sure to check out the Eliminator Owners and Enthusiast page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/473220306059769/

Looks like this one was posted a couple weeks ago, but just saw it today: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/cto/5142999159.html

'70 w/ 351C, auto. Competition Gold, black interior. Posted on DC Craigslist, but location unknown. $22,000

Here’s another Craigslist posting from today: http://houston.craigslist.org/ctd/5170661700.html

'70 w/ 351C, auto. Competition Blue, black interior, AC. in Texas. $30,000

any idea how many (if any) 70 Elim’s came w/ a Windsor?

Zero Eliminators built for the 1970 model year were equipped with a 351 Windsor from the factory.

This one is definitely a clone but it is ~ 10 miles from my place if anyone might want me to take look.

I’d be curious to know the VIN, just to put it in my “clones” file for future reference and to pass on to Phil for the database.

Back on the market…

'69 w/ 351, auto. Comp gold (originally bright yellow), black interior. Marti report. On ebay in South Carolina now.

Well turns out the car is not really there but someplace up in the midwest.

Thanks for following up on this one Galen!

0F91H518935 is a good looking tribute car, but not a factory Eliminator.

'70 w/ 428cj (non-ram-air), Auto. Competition Yellow, Black standard interior. Project. In Toronto, ON, Canada, listed on eBay.
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Mercury-Cougar-Eliminator-/111750616939?hash=item1a04db176b
*This one was previously listed by the same seller back in 2011 and again in 2012. It is also understood to be a rebodied car.
Nice list of options though!

'69 w/ 390, 4-speed. Comp orange, black interior. Project. In Miami, looking for trades.
http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/cto/5180531546.html

Listed as sold for $7,750, but here it is relisted so the deal must have fallen through.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/221862835769?forcerRptr=true&item=221862835769&viewitem=

Have we seen this one before? http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/cto/5197997550.html

'70 w/ 351C, auto. White (or pastel?). In St. Augustine $1,800

Price seems reasonable depending on what parts are remaining.

I believe the lettering on the quarter panels should be outlines not solid.
