This one was pointed out by BadCat on the other forum ~ it was previously offered on CL in Oct 2014 out of Defiance, OH, and went fast as it was priced pretty reasonably for a solid-appearing, clean car. I recall pointing it out as the possible “deal of the day” :slight_smile:

Could be a good, cheap Eliminator entry vehicle. Might make a nice parent-child project.

I don’t understand why people take a perfectly good stick and throw in a slushbox when there were so many made with automatics.

Here is an Eliminator-related item of interest that was pointed out to me today…

Haggarty is showing a huge increase in CJ Eliminator values recently. 351 and 390 prices aren’t showing the jump, and they don’t even list Boss 302 Eliminator values. They also don’t list the CJ engine in anything other than an Eliminator, so thier vehicle selectability is quite skewed.

I think their values for #1 “Best in the World” CJ Eliminators is off by about 50%, as there were several highly restored '70 Eliminators that changed hands this year in the $200k nieghborhood. But then again they had other things going for them that made them extra special.
