Engine Bay Refresh question?

All the suggestions so far were on my list over the years. Every winter I always seem to find more I can do. One thing I did last year was replace the body colored painted fender bolts and removed the black paint from the shock tower and hood latch bolts. So you’re on the right track and what you’ve done looks great. Here’s a pic of my engine bay when I bought my car and one that I took in the spring of this year:engine before 2011.jpgEngine 2018.jpg

What color is your car? Nordic Blue??
I am thinking of painting mine that color.
Is yours original or repaint?

Brian, Yes Nordic Blue, repainted in 1994 by a previous owner who gave me some history on my car. The paint is showing it’s age and has many road chips but that’s OK with me. I put just over 4000 miles on her this year and have been averaging about 3000 since I purchased her in 2011. Maybe sometime down the road I’ll repaint but that first road chip will kill me. She looks great from a little distance but will never win a Best Paint award. Morris 10-13-18.jpg

Is your top a white vinyl top or painted white. I am not sure i can tell from the pic. I really like it! That is the color I am definitely going to redo my to as I am not a fan of the Grecian Gold. Mine will not be a show car or win any awards but what I like and want! Trying to keep mostly stock except the paint color but even with that I plan to make sure it is within the family color pallet.

Mike- thanks for the reply. I don’t think I have seen a white vinyl too but it really pops with the blue.
Where I live in WA state, anything white turns green here from the long wet winter. I have to pressure wash my house siding, walk ways, patio etc every spring!
