engine install

I will be installing my engine and transmission soon (hopefully) and wondered if I should hold off installing my brake booster and master cylinder until after the engine/transmission are installed? It seems like that would provide more room to work and less chance of damaging things. I am installing the 351 Windsor/FMX combination in my 1969 XR7. Any thoughts on the booster MC timing would be appreciated.

Should be no real issue. The big block Cats are a challenge, and othesr have noted it does help to install after the motor is in.

I’ve installed 351W, 351C (both with FMX attached) and now a 460 w/ C6 into my 69s with the PB booster & master cylinder installed.
I had to replace my booster years ago and it was a PITA with the motor in place.
