FE Radiator (factory)

Where can one find a 1968 factory big block radiator? I have been trying to buy one for some time now for my W code car, but my attempts have come up empty.

I am looking for a good Ford factory core that I can restore. Thoughts?

What numbers are you looking for?

You would be looking for a Modine manufactured radiator for a Dearborn car.

FYI, There also were Western Modine radiator supplied to San Jose build cars, Cougar and Mustang for 1968. These radiators typically are marked “W Mo” on the top tank. They normally have the Ford part number on a tag affixed to the top tank. “Modine” radiators just have FoMoCo on top tank, and the Ford part number is normally found on the side straps. They also have dates.

If you hit the notify me button on our website we do get them in on a regular basis

Here are some pictures I took of the original radiator from my S code XR7-G when it was out of the car.

Car was built on May 6, 1968, is an automatic and has air.

The radiator would be the same part for either the '68 S-code auto/non-air or the '68 W-code auto/non-air, correct?

If yes, the part numbers on Phillip’s example would be correct. Date code would be late 1967 up thru mid Jan 1968.

Thanks for all of your responses!

A/C or not doesn’t change the radiator. S code with auto /max cooling package and W code / auto would be the same.
