Finished parking brake modification

I switched my rear end and added 2015 Mustang rear discs via Mustangsteve kit. So I bought a set of 2015 parking brake cables and with a generic piece of brake cable I connected them to my factory brake handle and hardware.
Car stops great and it will stay parked on a hill…really a hill.

Cool idea. Thanks for sharing. Does that disc brake kit proportion the ratio of front to rear braking well?

I have an adjustable proportioning valve in line.

What do you have on the fronts? factory discs?

The modern mustang brakes swaps have intrigued me but always wondered how they match up as a set.

Still have factory discs up front, the car stops very good.

I have a '67 Cougar, rears were converted to discs. The original parking brake is connected to the brakes, but doesn’t hold the car. A guy I’m talking to isn’t confident that if the geometry of the wiring is improved and brackets beefed up that it will make that big of a difference, so possibly looking at a remote actuator - more force to get the job done, but more expensive as well.

Do you have a picture of the geometry of the wiring and how/where the wires are fixed before the wires go to the brakes? Thanks
