Firewall heater hose grommets....

Do have these installed right?

I can’t remember if they installed from the outside in or the inside out. I have had it apart for a while.

I think the hoses go through the firewall with no grommets. Where did you get those?

I think the 70 is the only one to get them. If I recall they were reversed…

I remember that there was one missing. But it did have grommets there. But it seemed that the grommet stuck out more.

Yes, this is a 1970 with out A/C

Its seemed that the grommet stuck out further.

I`ll reverse one tonight and see if that works.

I just want it right because this heater core / dash / instrument cluster restoration is a PAIN IN THE A**

Yep… had them in backwards.

Man what a juggling act to the heater box, hoses and wire installed at the same time

Use lots of soapy water on the hoses while fishing them through the new grommets and firewall.
