First car show

It’s unusually hot here in New England (mid-90s F and up). I skipped racing in the annual Ed Day charity race and entered the car show part only with the '68 (I also brought the beverages, all 228 of 'em). There was no Mercury category, but I won the event director’s choice award. Cougars forever!

There you go… Wish it was that cold here.

It was mid 90s here when I took the dog for a walk at 5:30 this Morning…

Nicely done.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Looking good - thanks for flyin’ the flag!

Hotter than balls here in the Mid-Atlantic the past few days.

How does the charity race work?

Good job RB!

The charity race is set with four drivers/cars to a team. Each pays an entry fee above the usual track test&tune fee, such that every team of four kicks $125 into a pot. Each team gets to designate a charity (before or after) to which a check will be sent should they win or runnerup.

The racing is done ET/bracket style, full tree. There are also bonus awards for quickest reaction time in time trials, and fastest pass overall. I’ve been on teams in the past, though in the past I’ve never done well because I’m not used to the full tree!

Congrats!
