First car show with the Cougar. Not all that surprised that it was the only Cougar at the show as they aren’t very popular here in central Ohio. Competed against a slew of Mustangs and Camaro and took 3rd in the Pony car class. Got some great input from the judges and everyone seemed to have a story to tell about Cougars in general.

Yep, that sounds typical. I am usually the only Cougar owner at the car shows I enter, but it is amazing how many people claim to have owned, or know someone who owned one. It is usually great conversation but of course there is always that occasional person that you just want to go away and go bother the Camaro owners! LOL

Congratulations. Competing against Mustangs and Camaros you certainly had the deck stacked against you. Not like they’re popular or anything.

If you’re in central OH, then come to the GoodGuys show at the Fairgrounds this weekend. 5,000 cars and at least a handful of Cougars. I’m sure the Wildcat will be there.

Nope… too new. But I do have the Olds Vert. Besides, you’re forgetting that T-Birds were around WAY longer than Cougars anyway.
