Hey everyone,
I just purchased some brand new floor mats for my 69 coupe that have a beautiful white Cat logo inlayed. Can anyone suggest a practical way to preserve the brilliance of the logos so that they don’t fall victim to dirty boots and fade away?

LOL, you’ll need floor mats for your floor mats.
I’d say Scotchgard might be your best bet.

Keep feet off the logo.
As they do in Hawaii, take your shoes off before entering the car.
Save those good clean Cat ones for when you want to show off and get some generic everyday cheap ones for everyday driving. Or go to the hospital and ask for a bunch of booty shoe covers. Where did you get those BTW, they are nice! You should try and keep them clean!! LOL!
You could put packing tape or some such over the logos to keep them clean.
I agree - get some cheapies and put the nice ones in the trunk for when you get to shows, etc.

I have to thank anthem75 for telling us about Rock Auto and their floor mat selection. I went ahead and ordered a set that had my exact carpet color (Ford blue) but instead of the running cat, mine came with the Cougar script embroidered in red. I love them as the red is a nice matching accent to the red center caps I have on my styled steel wheels.
