haven’t found the problem. yet … had to build wheel cribs to get car high enough to clear the transmission… got it removed today but haven’t began trying to find/fix the problem …planning on looking up some diagrams to see if anything is out of order

I though the car look like one near me posted on CL a few months back.
I am in Eagle Rock/Highland Park, near both the 110 and 134. I have a 28oz flywheel off my 68. You can have it if you want to pick it up. I had to swap it out when I went to a 5.0 which required a 50oz one.
My original setup was 302 with a C4 tranny. Though that engine was junk, car did run and that flywheel did not rub.
I did just buy it off of cl about 2 months back… I’d love to take that flywheel off you hands…how much do you want for it? that’s the setup I have now… just dropped the tranny to fix this issue and now I’m wondering if I should just swap out for more gears or just drive it and see if I like it lol
Finally got the existing flywheel off and compared them before replacing it with the one CWatson gave me and the existing flywheel was definitely
aftermarket (Chinese) and the weight on it was much taller than the original
