Are there any resources in the Dallas/Fort Worth TX area that specialize in or can help with FE engine parts, rebuilds, etc?

I live in Dallas now but used to live in Denton, TX. Calvert’s engines in Denton did my 428 SCJ rebuild.

Calvert is good. Charles Eller also specializes in FE engines. He is in Arlington.

What do you need?

An engine.

Everything from carburetor to oil pan? Air cleaner and smog too? All the accessory mounting brackets? What date was the car produced?

Basically looking for a short or long block with oil pan, but anything is fine as I can always sell what I don’t need. Ideally would like to find something I could drop in and run, but will consider anything. I have the air cleaner, smog, accessory brackets, carb, etc. Ideally a G, H, or I engine but anything I or before in the year 1968 will work.

Ford didn’t use the letter “I” in casting numbers in order to avoid confusion with the number “1”. So I assume that you need 8J or earlier. I sent you a PM. Those are common dates, among the easiest to find.
