I am not moving away from Cougars but I do have some info needs on other Ford projects. I am searching for websites like our Cougars and prefer not to waste time. I need info on Torino’s and Rancheros and also Ford trucks. I recently bought a 71 Ranchero and this week found a 71, 429 CJ, shaker, Torino Cobra.I am seriously considering swapping a 70 429 into my 96 F350.
I am looking for real good Torino lists and also Ford truck lists. I want to run the numbers and pictures on the Torino to determine value and ask questions on the swap for my truck to simplify. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I know google but looking for first hand info.

Torino Cobra. net should help on the Torino and Ranchero. The 96 F Series did come with a 460 With Fuel Injection so parts to swap the 429 in are around.

I am pretty exited about the Torino. All there except the smog. I love my truck but the 351W just is not up to these mountains hauling a load. I have had this low milage 429 for years and ran it briefly in my 77F250 so it is tested.
I will have it checked out first. 70 Lincoln 4bbl. only mod so far was an older stock intake and timing. 4wheel low range I felt I needed a rev limiter so maybe a MSD6Al. Now my foot is to the floor boards with the 351 so maybe better gas milage even. This truck is my work horse though as I drive my Ranger day to day.
