The end is in sight!!!
After arriving in NY on Feb 7th for work for a diving job, I am going home sometime around April 28th. I have worked 12 hours a day, 7 days a week since being here, and will continue to do that until I get back home. That happens to be the same day my brother goes to Saudi Arabia for a diving job for 65 days. Oh well, we’ll see each other some time in July I guess.
On the list for when I get home:
-
NOT WAKE UP TO AN ALARM CLOCK!!!
-
Wake up in my own bed and not alone in a hotel room
-
Wake up in the gf’s bed and not alone in a hotel room
-
Buy XR7G428’s fuel injected 302 and install it
-
Change the headlights over to probe motors with the experimental motor controller to dial them down to a slower speed that I like
-
Install Rocketman’s headlight relay package with motor control
-
install Rocketman’s 8000 RPM tach in place of my clock
-
install trunk/passenger compartment metal rear seat divider
-
install the WCCC kick panels with the speakers already installed
-
install traction bars of some sort
-
most likely be rebuilding the 8" if the new 302 blows it up
-
maybe replacing a drive shaft if the new 302 twists it
-
Fix reverse lights and seat belts in my old truck so it passes inspection and paint its hood and roof
-
Drywall my whole house that has been torn apart, I mean “being renovated” for wayyy too long.
-
Continue work on the family boat where my brother has left off
I’m sure there will be much more added as time goes on.
