Fuel line bracket removal

I am working on the underside of the 67 GT and need to replace the fuel line. These brackets have me a little stumped. How do these separate?

Spread the two tabs and the clip pulls out. Clamping the tabs together locks the clip in (as you see them now). Hope this helps.

Thanks…I kind of thought so, but I did not want to ruin anything.

Mine was a basket case, it wouldn’t come undone due to the combination of the undercoating that the PO added and the rust in the floor pan which resulted in the clip breaking off.

I need a solution that will perform the function of holding the fuel line in place without mounting to the floor pan, I’m thinking some kind of bracket that bolts through a hole I can drill through what I believe would be referred to as the bottom of the lip on the rocker panel.
