Fuse Panel issue?

I know I’m going to be slapped for asking but… I don’t have any interior lights (gauges, opera, doors, shifter). Does anyone have an easy to read fuse diagram for a standard.

Royce will be here soon for the slap. soon. Do you Hawe a copy of the shop manual? It should have a good fuse box diagram.

Owners manual should have the diagram as well.

Also, try Google but make sure you are looking at the correct fuse block.

It is always useful to include what year Cougar you are working on when asking a technical question.

68 Standard and no, I do not have the manual.
I did attempt a search and saw one for an XR-7 but not standard

The glove box book has a nice diagram. Sorry I don’t have a copy handy at this time.

The gauge fuses are controlled by the headlight switch (variable voltage) and the smallest fuse (2.5 amps) located in the middle of the fuse box. Courtesy lights get their power from the headlight switch via the door jamb switches (converted from fused power located at the right hand side vertical fuse - 14 amps). Note that the headlight switch is part of both systems, but fuses are more likely to be the culprit.

If I had one I wouldn’t ask

Thanks

The free wiring diagram download from WCCC’s will give you all the detail. The fuse box is shown peace meal by circuit so it’s not quite as convenient in simply identifying fuses as the diagram in the Owners manual but it tell so much more
