g force cougar question

that is a really awesome car. where did he find that hone-o-drive 9" rear? those things are rarer than rare. I knew a guy in the nor-cal shelby club that had several, other than that they are tough to find, let alone in workable condition. I will look forward to hearing about and reading about this car and the extensive research and build it took to make this car. mike

Might pay to post over on the other forum. I think Rocket posts over there

Wow I didn’t realize that he’s only a few blocks from me. I see the car every year at the local shows and our local clubs shows.

Here is the article I wrote about his car.

Gee, I wonder where he got the copy for his site? LOL!

I think that Hone O Drive is the coolest thing ever. That would be a great part to reproduce in my book, although it would probably be a financial disaster…

Question…the Hone O Drive, does that function much the same as a Gear Vendors unit does?

Basically yes, They are both planetary gear set over drives.

Thanks, Bill…

It sure looks bulky and allot of added weight but sooooo coool!

I have liked the G force Cougar since I first saw it. I saw pictures (not sure where) of a second G Force. It was a black (Onyx  ) standard with a Paxton supercharger. Period looking and very cool. Has anyone else seen this car? In the photos Rockets car was parked next to it at a show.

I also noticed the G Force website has not been updated in quite a while. A lot of “under construction” links.

i wonder if David Kee would be willing to reproduce the H-O-D units. His website claims he has reproduced every piece of a top-loader. He might have the peeps in place to do it.

I sent David Kee an e-mail and offered my original unit to him as a model from which to reproduce Hone-o-drives. I’m waiting for a response.
