Dad Gommit!!!

I keep saying how easy it is to load pictures on this site, and I was the only one with “cougar porn” on here, and, low and behold, two of our compadres loaded their works of art, recently, and NOTHING on the front page lets me know there are new pics in here. I almost missed them! ( That’s beacuse I was the only one with pics, and I just happen to know what mine looks like…)

Is there a way to make the eyeball icon wink, flash, blow up,… anything, to advetize that there are new car pics in there?

ooof, I feel much better now.

There remains the matter of one of the people on here (I won’t point any fingers… ) who have rare cats in the the garage (cathouse…)and still do not show the example gallery-wise.

I still wont point fingers… but look for members with RED in their membership buttons…

Come on, man, show us yours… we showed ours…

ps: I use this site in my signature on “other sites” because: 1- it definitely is easy to upload here, in a multilpe way, and: 2- the site name does get around…

I don’t have a Cougar to show you, but I will think about some kind of notice to let you know if someone has posted new gallery images. There’s nothing built into the Gallery to do it outside of the Gallery pages, but I can probably come up with something. Maybe a notice over under the last login time…

I’ll get back to you on this when I get a chance to take a look.

Nothing fancy, but I added a little notice under the last login/current date that will at least tell you when new images were most recently added to the gallery:

I’m in the middle of moving, so anything fancier is going to have to wait a little while.

Just noticed, when posting an outside link to this site to promote cougars, the pics seem to have:

on them if you’re not logged in. Anybody we know?

Yes, he is the developer of the gallery extension we are using (phpBB Gallery) who has graciously made all his hard work available for free. All he asks is that I leave the software attribution intact and the credit you noticed that shows only when one isn’t logged in.

so sirree he didn’t, but I thank you for the mod… we are definitely getting a few new cars. One of these days, Bill will manage to have some spare time and spoil those of us who will probably never get to see his treasures.

Oh, I tried, but it looks like I need to re-size everything first. I don’t want to replace the larger files with smaller pics, and I don’t want to store multiple versions of each picture on my hd so I will need to set up some time to duplicate my pics, upload them, and then wipe them from the drive.
