Got rid of the air shocks-

The end of an era. Trying to get my car to handle like a car again! The fronts were missing material on top, and the rears were just too stiff, or too soft.so I got the better set of KYB’s. The fronts went in easy but the rears, not so much!! I’m used to installing shocks at work but these things were so stiff I almost couldn’t get it done. Luckily I had a small ratchet strap and was able to hold them compressed to install them. And I did see some damage from the air shocks after many years of use. I think the damage was caused by under inflation. I don’t like the ride height in the rear, and am now thinking about either new rear leaf springs, or getting the current set re-arched. And, I’m not totally sold on these 16’s that are on the car. they are a ‘current’ Mustang wheel, tha are cheap and easy to find. I don’t hate them, but I don’t love them either. They were cheaper than any 14 or 15 I could find at the time. As far as the handling goes, the only thing left to repair is the control valve. When the car gets into any kind of rut on the road, she won’t stay in one lane, she wants ALL the lanes.
