I took my Cougar out for her first long drive today after finishing the rebuild and rework…not a single hiccup, burp, tic or stutter. Out on a country road I finally had the confidence to stomp the pedal to the floor pan and was rewarded with a lovely downshift, the tach spinning up near 5K (thanks RocketMan), and a grin that may not fade for a week.
