Headlight Halogen Conversion Kit - Guidance needed

Hey guys - I am looking for some help here.

I purchased this Projection Halogen Headlight conversion kit from WCCC - It is supposed to be a direct drop using a pigtail converter. I got them all connected but that’s not the problem. The notches on the lights don’t match the ones on the headlight adjusment ring. It also seems that for the low beam lights they are too deep to fit properly. I tried unscrewing the headlight adjuster screws all the way but they don’t quite seat properly and from the bulb is still hitting the body. Has anyone who has installed this particular kit have any ideas here? I have looked for a video but wasn’t able to find one.

Thanks in advance for any guidance

LED lights are also available from other sources and unlike halogens, they don’t impose a higher voltage load.

Therefore all the relays and additional wiring are unnecessary. I’m seriously looking at going this route when one of my headlights burns out.

Of course, some people don’t like the look of them but I don’t mind. It wouldn’t surprise me if WCCC didn’t have LED headlights since they already have LEDs for everything else but I’m just guessing at that.

From the link that you provided:

“NOTE: From the factory, Ford made the alignment tabs different passenger vs driver side so you would not accidentally put a bulb in the wrong location. These projection beam housings are the same left to right so you will have to either grind off the little plastic alignment tabs or purchase another pair of outer headlight adjustment rings (headlight cups). Also know that the 90 degree plug at the back of each bulb is adjustable so you can rotate it to best fit your needs. Just remove the three Phillips screws on the back and rotate to the desired position. (see above photo sequence).”
