Headlight relay kit

i installed the Rocketman’s headlight relay kit recently.

it is supposed to be plug and play, and that worked really fine for me.

Here’s what i did.

1st, there’s a long black wire with a ring connector at the end. You decide where to tap in a + power from the battery.
When you decide where to fix the automatic circuit breaker (i chose here)

you cut the black wire, and crimp each end to to opposite ends of the automatic breaker.

you then fix the PS relay. I chose here

then to the DS relay. here is where you trim the excess black wire. All the connectors were included.

I did not receive the halogen low beams yet, but the high beams are installed, and night driving is much more pleasant than before.

I know the pics are dark, but it does show where I put the relays.

hope this helps.

Nice. That’s one of the many things on my list, and possibly the electric conversion. It just seems more cost effective to go electric on the doors as there isn’t a whole lot of difference between it and the vacuum motors.

Guys,

If you decide you want the RCCI headlight relay kit with an electric motor upgrade, let me know.
I combine Bob’s kits with my mount and motor kits, it becomes a really clean wiring system.
