Hmmm. I will need to get Jay to look at this. We update the software every time they have a patch and my guess is that they “fixed” something.
LOL, “fixed”…Hawker-Beech(we’re a dealer for them) did a “system simplification upgrade” two weeks ago, and we STILL are having issues with “fixes”…
Thanks, BB!
Looking like a car again…
Both fenders on, in somewhat the correct place, for the first time since 2007…
That’s a good feeling, Now if it didn’t take a few years to finish the rest…
“Finish”?? Que es “finito”?? I didn’t think they were ever “finished”?? LOL. Looking right now to just get it “roadable” again…would LOVE to take it for a spin yet this year…:y:…
Keepin’ my fingers crossed for ya, 3.
You dang well better get someone to take a pic of your first ride. The grin is sure to outshine the front grill
I’ll be scared pooh-less, JB…Praying to Mercury that my mechanical skills will hold the thing together, and bring it to a halt!!! Smile will come once that has been determined!!!
C’mon, kiddo! what i’ve seen of your work so far, shows very well.
so… this year?
Hoping, JB, hoping…been putting in early morning, and evening work on it…mostly re-assembly at this point.
New pics…let’s see if they post fully…!! LOL.
Rear bumper on…
Steering wheel mounted on the column…
Clutch master mounted and plumbed…
Rented a transmission jack on the way home, trans going back in…
And back on the ground…
Got up this morning and reinstalled the driveshaft, and did some shop cleanup…
Kidless for most of the weekend, so, looking forward to some more “giant leaps” forward…
edit…Nope, cuts them off on the R/H side…those last two, when posted elsewhere, you can see the whole car…weird.

Yeah - you can’t see the Mustang behind the Cougar!
(That should start some questions/discussion)
Todd, you probably posted something about this before (and I forgot); but are you using a slave cylinder or a hydraulic T/O on the clutch?
LMAO!!! Didn’t even cross my mind, the irony of not being able to see the Mustang BEHIND the Cougar…
More leaps this weekend…got lots o shop time…even rolled it out…
This is my favorite photo of the weekend, what with the flag in the background, and all…(ignore the misaligned quarter extension, will fix it soon)
First wash job in ??? At least 4.5 years…
For the clutch, DD, I’m using a pusher slave…
Clutch slave mounted:
From the side:
Had my machinist father in law drill/tap the bellhousing lip for me, and make the mount/standoff…you wouldn’t BELIEVE what convincing him to do it took…GAAAAAAAAH!!!
(Holding my tongue JUST RIGHT so maybe these will post up fully)
Nope. Pity, it cut off the best part of that first pic…altho you can just see it…above the rear wheel lip, the way the light was, the rest of the side looks almost black, but the red POPS on at the wheel lip…shame, really. One of my favorite pics at the moment.
SOON, tho, SOON, it will be back on the road. Need to fill/bleed the clutch setup, install/fill/bleed the booster/master for the brakes. Oh…and get insurance/tagged. Dangit. LOL.
Dont forget to fill the transmission!
ANNNNNDD I’m done!
DOH!!! Knew I’d forgotted sumpin! Perhaps that was the harsh metal on metal sound I heered?
Transmission…FILLED! Did that Saturday…thanks, Two!
Posted a couple of the pics in the gallery, showed the full pics…wooohoooo!
Still wonder why it cuts them off in the forums, tho…shrug…I’m no IT-Guru, like JB, tho…
Gentlemen…the weekend was fruitful! Video forthcoming of THE FIRST DRIVE!!!
What a weekend!!!
Congrats, did the first drive result in the first ticket?
Nope…didn’t go outside of the 'hood…and I know all the cops that live in there…
And now…here we go!
