Thank you. Ours is a base trim unit. At the time of restoration no houndstooth vinyl for roof available so its now chocolate brown.
My first 70 had the houndstooth interior with brown vinyl top. Very sharp combo!
2 Gold tones were available in 1970. Top picture appears to be Medium Gold and the other is Deep Gold.
The two golds offered on 70 Cougars were code K (Deep Gold Metallic) which was on my car in the second image
and code U (Competition Gold)
But there was a darker bronze - code 5 (Med Brown Metallic) offered on the big Mercurys.
The colour of my car was not a factory colour.
