Very carefully pry up the flange (which as you can see is irregular) all around with a sharp flat blade screwdriver or your tool of choice. Surprisingly, the flange did not break off when I did this and I was able to re-flatten them down in the rechromed housings when I put them back together.
Curious, why are you having these rechromed when repros are now available (or has the supply dried up)?
