How to disconnect the power window switches on the driver's door panel

Okay maybe I’m just sleep deprived but I’m trying to remove the driver’s door panel so I can pull the power window motor and place the torque pins.

For the life of me I can’t see nor can’t find a video online showing how to disconnect the window switches so I can remove the door panel.

I got everything else disconnected or removed as far as I can tell except the power window switches. I also haven’t removed the speaker yet and have been thinking maybe there’s a main plug for all switches inside the door panel

Can anyone confirm or provide guidance? Thank you!

There are two small spring clips top and bottom of the switch that have to be pried open to release the harness plug. Be careful - they are fragile. Doesn’t take much force to release them, but they are hard to see and get to with the door panel on.

Speaker has a separate plug inside the door.

I couldn’t find an image of the larger plug harness / connector used in the master control for power windows, WITH the little clips that secure the plug connectors to the bank of power window switches / bezel, but here’s an image of a single switch with that clip.

Don’t forget that this bracket:

will also have to be removed, in order to separate the bezel ( + switches, connectors and clips ) from the back of the door panel itself. This will make it a lot easier to pull the wiring a bit further through the square hole in the door panel, to carefully ‘retract’ the tangs of the clip ends and remove the connectors from the bank of switches.
Good luck - it’s careful / fussy work, but easily done with patience.
