I inherited a 1967 xr7 with 289 and I an toying around with selling as we are moving but have no idea of the value I think the car is in pretty good condition. The car was repainted dark blue at some point and the paint is chipping in areas but the car seams to be fairly rust free and runs and drives good, it is an automatic, the steering column has some of the usual issues and needs rebuilt. Any ideas or even just a value discussion would be greatly appreciated I’m in Nebraska

Canarm21 you need to post like Paul said range anywhere from peanuts to mid to later 20’s. Can’t help unless pics and options also if complete. Running or not? Balls in your court.

Looks like a VERY solid car. Love that flower pot steering wheel. Should NOT have a problem moving it on.
I like the picture of under the hood. From an untrained eye, it appears to be mostly original.
The battery shut-off is a good idea, but it could also mean something else.
I put those on all my cars I dont drive often lol between the boat the camper and all the cars i get tired of buying batteries.

Yes, fully understand that. I have too many battery tenders. Plus, my xr7 clock works but never tells the correct time because I don’t reset it.
I was thinking earlier about how I got my 67 cougar from my dad and what he would always say: ‘there is an ass for every seat’.
You just have to find it-and the seat, too, in this case.
He would say presentation is first. Once you attract someone to your cougar is when your true salesman skills will prevail.
If you want the most for it and to put the least into it, you might want to fix the little things or at least make things look more put together.
Whatever you do, I wish you the best.

So Nordic blue 289 2bl auto. Looks like you got a nice survivor with 1 repaint. Could you post pics of the undercarriage? Everyone wants to see suspension and floors torque boxes etc. Plus side is original ordered California car. Not sure how long your dad owned but very clean. could do video then post. Running while walking around. Nice cat.

Have you decided to sell the 1967 XR7? I think it would be a quick sale as it looks original and won’t need a significant amount of metal work.
From your pics and the Marti Report looks like a pretty original nicely equipped small block XR7. If it runs and drives decent that’s a plus as someone could drive while they worked thru some things. On the downside it needs paint which is a big number and the headliner. Seems like some wiring issues with drivers seat out and wires hanging plus the wires loose in trunk. Depending on what that is that could be a big number too. You’d help yourself with that cleaned up. If bottom and torque box is solid I’d say in the teens for value and that will move up or down on what the electrical system ends up. Alot of guys would be scared to get into Cougar wiring. Solid car couple big question marks- hope that’s helpful.
