Ignition Power Relay Kit for the Pertronix Ignitor

Something new to make installing the Pertronix Ignitor faster and easier. All versions of the Pertronix Ignitor need a 12 volt power supply that is hot during cranking and while the key is in the run position. This kit comes ready to install with the correct terminals already installed. Retail price will be $24.99 but I am going to introduce it at $19.99 including shipping in the USA. These have not arrived here yet but should arrive before the end of September.

This is the instruction sheet that shows how to install it. I am looking for any feedback or questions you may have. I will also post the FAQ that goes on the back of the instructions.

$199.95?

Well if you insist! LOL! probably not going to sell at that price. $19.99 is what I meant. Fixed it if the cache ever clears.

And it won’t bother me if people want to get their own relay and copy this. I just hope they do use a fuse in the circuit since you are running wire over some pretty hot parts.

I might be in for 6 of them.

It’s like when a new car is introduced these days. Loaded up “first edition”, full options, inflated price.

BTW I’d like to get one.

That would save on postage so I would toss in the 6th one free.

Will these be available to pre order on https://desertclassicparts.com/ in the near future? I will need 2 of them.

They are in production now and as soon as I have an arrival date I will create a listing.

GREAT NEWS! These arrived yesterday! I am going to start these at $19.99 If you have the red wire on your Ignitor run to the coil positive you NEED one of these.

The painless way to power the Ignitor!

THANK YOU RANDY!

Cougarrand is the very FIRST customer!

And THANK YOU DAVID P> Randy beat you by a hair!

My IPR arrived in the mail today.

Thanks BIll!

That was fast!

I would appreciate your feedback

Could you use the power wire for an electric choke also?

Yes and it also works for the trigger lead for Sniper EFI.

I’m getting ready to go back to a Duraspark ignition setup. I will use the IPR to power that.

Just ordered one today. I was about to source the parts to do something like this myself and realized this was way faster and same money.

I wanted this priced low enough to make it an easy decision. The PerTronix relay is about $40. No reason a relay should be that expensive. It costs about $5 for postage and a box so really about $15 for the relay socket harness fuse and a few connectors is about right. If people look at the instructions and make their own I am good with that too. Mostly I am happy to offer a solution to everyone asking how to hook up the Ignitor
