Installing a shallow stereo in the glove box

I found a stereo that is very shallow, about 2 inches, that I am putting in the glove box. I do not need to cut up anything and it will be very discreet. It has Bluetooth USB ports etc. I made a mounting bracket that attaches to the top of the glove box so it is out of the way for paperwork.

Pictures please.

Neat idea. I’ve seen several that mount under the seat or in the trunk. I like keeping the factory look. My factory AM doesn’t work anymore and I found a company locally that will replace the internals with brand new state of the art technology and give me AM/FM Stereo with Bluetooth and AUX input but the factory radio look isn’t touched. So kind of best of both worlds. I hope to get this done early next year.

I thought and priced that too. Had to give this option a chance, at less than 20 bucks it could not hurt.
I have it in now and it has great sound and I can control it either with the remote or if I want to keep the glove box closed I can control it with my phone. It has Bluetooth, 2 USP ports, AUX with 20 x 4 power.

Felix, did you just leave the old radio in place and just wire this one in ?

Yes, independent of the other. Using 2 6x9 that were already cut out in the back. May get a split front in the future.AM still plays on the factory system.

That’s cool can still listen to the old school am .
