As the title says. I posted a for sale ad and would like to link to pictures, but try as I may, cannot find the Gallery, what am I missing?

Insert a link to a picture or actually insert? I do not see a means to do the latter in a post.
The gallery was a remedy for a clunky way put images into the posts. Then it was a necessity when Photobucket decided to screw the users and hold their images hostage. The gallery had other problems. Although we developed a resizing routine as part of the upload process we couldn’t keep up with the exponential growth of image size in phone cameras.
Making it easier to put images into posts was a big factor in making the change in software. Now it’s relatively easy to add pictures. And they are automatically resized and then stored on the site so they don’t vanish going forward
Insert.
You can also click on the arrow upload icon in the top toolbar. It then lets you browse to and select the photos you want to attach to your post.
