ISO: left rear corner stuff for 70

I accidentally backed into my 99 Ram with the giant welded offroad bumper and mangled my left rear.

I could use the corner cut from a junker and a reverse lamp lens. It’s mashed at the extension mating surface and tailpanel/quarter joint.

Already have the quarter extension and reverse light trim in my parts stash. Just need some metal and a piece of plastic. If you have this sitting around, lemme know. I’m about to start drilling the welds out and straightening it if I can’t find a corner to weld in.

I’ve got some of that…just need a picture of what you need/want

Probably looking at cutting about where the tail of the script ends and then about an inch into the taillight panel. It was already kind of mashed where the extension met the quarter from parking lot damage and I had a light skim of filler to get the curves right. So, I’m thinking best course is to cut it all out and weld a nice straight piece in so I don’t have a mess trying to reform the compound curves.

The best course would be to find a body man who can pound that dent out. Then replace the extension and the backup lens trim to make it all look like new again.

This car is pretty square. It just had some parking lot damage and the ends of the quarters more or less bear the brunt of any rear dings biased to the side.
I probably will just drill out the spot welds and straighten it.

pull it out with the truck you backed into…
