The courthouse my wife works at is about half a block from one of the better pawn shops in the area so she does a lot of browsing at lunch due to there being a lot of shops in the old town area.
So she calls me at lunch and tells me to get over to Phil’s Pawn Bank (it’s a converted bank from the late 1800s) after work. I figure she’s found a piece of jewelry or something. So when I walk in Phil reaches down behind the counter and pulls out this guitar and say “Happy Anniversary”. It’s a limited edition Mexican Strat “Splattercaster”. Cool gift indeed.
The guys at work call her the unicorn. I’m in agreement. I’d day more, but I’m gonna plug this into my 50 watt Marshall a univibe pedal and channel my inner Robin Trower. Have a great evening
Oh yeah, I didn’t plug her into the 50 w Marshall. I went into my univibe, and into my POD with the headphones on. Close enough! The Marshall sounds best when you can’t hear the airport so I spared everyone the pain.
