Did all 1969, 1970, and 1971 Cougars with factory Ford lower control arms have those jacking tabs on them? Or were they only on certain years? The NOS lower control arms I recently picked up (D7 service replacement parts) do not have the tabs…thanks!
IMHO No reason to expect NOS (service parts) to be like originals we see differences between original and service replacement parts everyday
All 69-70 original lowers would have had jacking tabs not sure for the 71’s need to look at allot more of my pictures
And, in case this leads you in that direction, NPD sells the tabs.
Just don’t add them to A arms that have other incorrect features if you want to look original Things like ball joints and bumps in the lower a arm where the jacking tabs would have been will still be there
