I would not touch a thing. To me it is a survivor. I can’t wait to see what it goes for.
In my opinion it would cost $5k to redo the leather and value of the car would drop by $5k
Leave it looks well aged. Not so sure we of paint on drivers qtr panel. Do not know if that is correct patina.

The show hadn’t started yet and I was busy getting the Cougar ready when My Car Story host Lou Costabile came up and asked if he could shoot a video for his YouTube channel.

I saw an ad on a Facebook group for that Frank Wurtz blue race Cougar in the video is for sale now also. Only 151 original miles.
My absolute dream Cougar !!! I would not change a thing. It’s only original once.
This is the car I want a day 2 clone of.
Or…sell a car or 2, mortgage the house…

I too thought the presentation was very good, even the music in the video was pleasant and period correct. Not sure what the premium listing cost but even if it does not meet reserve it will be a good way to document this car and point others to the site.
Hi all and ty! Didn’t do BJ because of the fees and time needed. The upholstery? Leave it alone. It is really much better than it looks. And BTW, you cannot get his from the pics: it smells great! Im not kidding. If anyone is in the Dallas area, come by for a beer and a drive before it goes.

That was disappointing. I was pulling for this to bring good money despite being on BAT.
In the overall scheme of things this wasn’t bad money, just not enough to buy that car.
I probably don’t value it at enough to buy it either. But I don’t see how it wouldn’t bring $200k in a better setting.
