Should have a 351 W but previous owner dropped a 302. It runs good but I’ll be putting a 351 back in. Really straight body. Will be cleaning it up and putting fresh paint. No rust. Got it for $1700.00
Are you going to search for an orriginal 69 351 or use a newer roller motor from an 80’s car / truck?
Just an FYI, but roller 351s didn’t start until very late 93 so searching those 80s trucks won’t net you one. Even the Lightnings used a standard hydraulic cam, though reports are their blocks are typically cast for rollers – they weren’t equipped as such.
Roller 302s were much earlier starting in the 85 model year.
