I’ve just replaced the ignition switch on the 70 and now I can’t get the key out of the lock. It hasn’t been a problem before now
Appreciate your advice

Is the key turning back to the off position? If it is slightly off it will not come out. Check the reverse lock out. It may have slipped out of place.
Fixed - the round thingy that the column surround hooks into was out of position and stopping the lock rotating all the way to the lock position
Got to love these dumb amateur restorers - that would be me
Thanks Neal. My reverse lock out fell off into the too hard bucket during the rhd conversion
If the sleeve in the column slips it will cause this condition. Did you lock it down?

Yes. It is locked in position
