I’m trying to figure out how to attach the kickdown rod from my FMX to an Edelbrock AVS2.
Has anyone installed one of these and hooked it up to an FMX on a 69 or 70?

Edlebrock makes a kit (EDL-1483) that bolts to the linkage & has a post for the Ford kickdown tube. The only issue is it makes the throttle cable out of alignment. I use a piece of angle iron. Drill 2 holes ( use the gasket as a template), then weld a short post to go into the hole not used by the carb. Then cut the square hole tap off the old bracket & weld the the end.
