Looking for a sound system for my car. Who has the most killer sound setup that just rock? What are you guys using that you love.
Right now my engine, headers and mufflers are my killer sound that rocks! I am working on running a male connector plug to go into my iphone and have it play out of the Pioneer speakers in the rear package tray.
My '70 conv came with a decent system from the PO. It has Kenwood component speakers in the doors (separate tweeters up high) and in the regular Kenwood speakers in the backseat side panels. Don’t have the exact model numbers on those. Also has the USA-230 head unit paired with a Kenwood KAC-7500PS amp. Sounds really good even at highway speeds with top down.
There was a freakin huge subwoofer cabinet with a 12" Polk Audio sub in the trunk but I gave that to my son and have nothing on the sub channel of the amp at the moment.
I am installing a brand new Craig Power Play FM-8 Track with Jensen Tri - Axial 6X9 speakers.
Small block, full length headers, and flowmaster are my tunes as well. My coworker constantly has the truck radio on news radio so the sound of the car is my own personal zen garden.
Is that a floor mount or under dash unit?
Under dash. No way to use the floor mount with a console.
